During 80s and 90s, Comuna 13 was one of the most dangerous neighbourhood throughout the world. Drug trafficking ang gangs were the main reason behind it. Comuna 13 started to change after Government intervened the neighborhood in 2002. Keep in mind that you should still visit the area with a local guide.
