During World War II, This castle was considered as an option for Royal Family in case of German troops to reach and conquer United Kingdom. However this option was refused by the Royal Family. Nowadays it hosts a lot of movie and series. Castle was used in X-Men and Deadpool movies. It is also “Queen Mansion” in Arrow series.
