Kijong-dong
Located near the DMZ and visible over on South Korea, Kijong-dong also known as “Peace Village”, is a sparkling village filled with blue-roofed houses and even a tall tower, picturing its prosperity. According to some articles, however, it’s dubbed ‘propaganda village’ by South Korea, as it’s said to be just shells of uninhabited houses used as a façade to lure defectors.
