Known for its beautiful interior design and big screen, The Avon Theatre was at the height of popularity from its opening in 1916 up to the 1950’s, but saw a decline afterwards until its closing in the 1980’s (however it opened again in 1993). It’s not known only for its elegance though. People also whisper of ghostly presence in the theatre, with cold spots, strange noises, and ghostly figures lurking in rooms.
