Officially known as ‘Kwan-il-so”, this area was a concentration camp in North Korea and was actually only closed down in 2014. This is where they put those seen as enemies of the State and torture them as well give them hard labor and living conditions. Torture included forced water ingestion, ‘pigeon torture’ and beatings.
